It's his full name, a name that he has revealed to no one here, not even lovers. Hawke takes his time, brushing off bits of bark here and there. When he's finally done, he sighs softly, touching the markings longingly. A moment later he pulls his cloak closer to his body and continues on with the work. He must have been out there for a while now, since he's wearing a heaving cloth around his waist that's down to his ankles, a tunic and the cloak.=-

This is 'u', the hare, the fourth sign of the zodiac, and this is 'hana', flower ... and together it means 'deutzia hydrangea' ... or soy dumpling, depending on how you interpret it.

This is 'retsu'. It means violent, furious, ardent or vehement.
