I know it is time to work on the apples, but I have more important things I must do, for now. I do not wish to worry anyone. -=He pauses there as if he wants to say a name. But he doesn't.=-

I must go and train. I will be out in the wastes with [Darkling]. When I return, I will be very tired. I may stay at Unohana's for some time. -=Because there must be food to be eaten and Hawke's preparing for the worst, which is he'll be too zoned to prepare it himself.=-

If I do not return by the seventh sunset, then begin to worry. -=But there's a small smile.=- As long as this heart beats, I will not make you worry.

-=There's another thought. He wants to say something else, but he's quiet as he touches his fist to the top of his sternum and then lets it slide down to the center of his torso. The fist opens up so that his hand is splayed flat and that is when the feed ends.=-

It is something all must do with a skill, is it not? To not train is to become weak in it.

I would not like to be weak when there are so many uncertain things here. -=And people. And Animus. But people, especially.=-

[She nods. Even if she doesn't like it, she can understand why it's necessary.]

That makes sense. You will take care, I know. I only wish you did not have to be gone for so long a time. I do not trust the Wastes at all.

Is there anything that needs doing whilst you are gone? Anything that needs mending, or washing?

Perhaps when you return, we should look through your garments and take stock of what needs mending. You do not wish to be ill prepared for winter.

Tea and food, I can provide, though I know not exactly how you make your sort of tea. You may have to instruct me on its preparation. And I can read to you, if you like, to help you rest.

[She grins and curtsies before turning off her feed and taking her shawl from the dresser. She is careful to step lightly as she leaves the house, lest her cousin hear her and think to ask where she is going. Once outside, she hurries to Hawke's home, the physical exertion warming her as much as her shawl.]

[She does not like the serious look on his face; it makes her worry.]
