-=Guess who pops up on the PCDs in the pre-dawn light! He's dirty with what looks like reddish-brown mud, still mostly naked, and looks positively exhausted. There are fresh, thin, red lines down the insides of his forearms, but they look more like red marker lines than what they really were. Hawke's lockjaw has become a beast of burden and is hauling not only Hawke's gear, but some animals that have been hunted.=-

-=Hawke speaks something in his own language, not caring that the musical lilt won't be understood by people here. And then a moment later he gives a loose translation.=-

I am home. I have brought meat, but I do not have the strength to finish preparing it. And I would need a bath, first.

[She gasps and loosens her grip, forgetting herself for a moment, as she realizes that he's covered in more than dirt and grime. Then, she tightens her fingers on Tybalt's arm, pulling him forward more quickly.]

Hawke, you are injured! You said that you were all right. I should have brought bandages....

[She's cursing herself for being so foolish as to think to bring nothing but her cousin. He's been in the Wastes, after all.]

[She shrugs.] I wouldn't give him any reason to be.

You're exhausted [And like a Master to her.], and you don't really like it when I try to alleviate your pain. But this is something you would enjoy, right?

[Even Tybalt can't help his eyes going wide at the sight of those lines. His eyes flicker from the wounds to Hawke's near nakedness to the animals to Juliet and back again.]

Go wash or you'll take a fever from those. [Said with a grudging growl.]

I can finish dressing the meat.

-=Hawke's basically got some odd defensive filth splashed on him from one creature, not to mention the old, dried blood from the animals he's managed to hunt. He definitely does not smell pleasant. He didn't want Juliet to be sullied by the filth. It'll take a while to get it scrubbed out.=-

They will heal on their own. Do not worry. -=That too, is part of his training, but he won't mention that. He'd say more to Juliet, but all he carries for her at the moment is a smile.=- There are things inside my home that will help.

I thank you, Tybalt, for your help. In return, you may take whatever meat or hide you need. -=And for Juliet's cousin, he bows as deeply as he dares, wobbling some on weakened knees.=- I have good sharp knives inside for them.

I will be in the hot springs. -=In the one pool meant for de-muckifying oneself.=-

[She nods.] I'll be there in a few. And I'll bring tea there as well, right?

...Hawke? Do you need some help? [she looks worried]

-=Hawke moved slowly to the Springs, covered in old blood, whatever stink bomb some skunk like creature hit him with, and other not nice stuff from the Wastes. Once he's finished climbing the path, he stands there, swaying slowly as he works to remember what to do next.=-

-=There's another kindly smile for another lady.=-

It is good to see you again, Willow. I am well. Tired. Dirty. Hungry.

Juliet and her cousin are coming to help with the meat so it does not spoil.

[Now, she does let go of Tybalt, moving closer to Hawke. She is careful to keep a respectful distance, though, in front of her cousin.]

Leave the rest of this to Tybalt, and show me where the knives are. I will bring them to him, and run errands as you each need.

[She knows perfectly well, of course, where the knives are kept, but best not to let Tybalt know that.]

The lizard's not going to try to eat me or anything is it?

[He's eying the beast warily. It's far too early in his mind to be getting into tussles with overgrown beasts. Then again, it's too early for most things.]

[relieved, mostly]

I'm glad someone is helping you. It is good to see you, too.

-=He remembers Juliet's request and nods, motioning slightly to the house.=- I will show you where they are. Then I must go bathe. -=Really, he just wants to hug her, but first things first.=-

[Darkling] will not harm you. -=But the lockjaw is watching Tybalt as if he's sizing him up for a meal, crunching indiscriminately on the bones of his haunch. Nope. That lizard won't harm Tybalt at all as long as he remains out of his master's house.=-

Nothing sad has happened while I was training, has there?

Not for me or that I'm aware of. I've been working on my program and teaching some people control over their magic.

Do you need any help? [You're a friend, so she's gonna help.]

[She nods and turns back to Tybalt.]

I will be back in a moment, cos. Do not worry about the creature. I am sure he is kind.

[She goes and squeezes her cousin's hand, smiles at the large beast, which, she will admit, does look a little frightening, and then follows Hawke into the house, speaking to him only when they are inside.]

How badly are you hurt?

[He continues to eye the beast, but nods slightly, his attention on the creature, and not the thought that Juliet is going into this nearly-naked man's house.]

It won't take long.

[Raven arrives a bit later, holding a thermos bottle of tea under her cloak. When she sees Hawke standing there, swaying like this, she lands softly and sets the bottle on the ground. She walks to him and puts her hands on his arm to help him steady himself. She doesn't mind the blood and whatever he's covered in. It reminds her of the state her and her teammates were in after fighting some slimy monster.]

Hey. You alright?

-=Once inside, Hawke lifts his arm up to examine the cuts.=- They will heal, My Sun. The wounds I made myself. I am not injured anywhere else. -=He looks up with a small sigh, looking worse than a cat caught in the rain.=-

-=Meanwhile the Lockjaw watches Tybalt and gives a low rumble. Fortunately, that was a good sign. What was a bad sign was that the Lockjaw was moving his haunch to in front of the dwelling's door and plunked down like some giant hunting dog multitasking.=-

Is this program working well? That is a good thing, to show others control. -=A slow head dip.=- It is not easy to be a teacher.

Food. -=It's a low rumble in his chest. He's starving=-

It is coming together, Botan has me trying to integrate her radar into it, so it is challenging, but fun! Much fun.

[she settles herself to be a bit more comfortable]

Teaching is hard, but I feel like I'm doing some good. How did your training go?

...You look like shit.

But I could lend a hand with that, if you need it. The meat, I mean.

I hungerrr. -=That 'r' sound rolls a bit.=-

There is still much to do before I can eat. Training was good.
