-=Guess who pops up on the PCDs in the pre-dawn light! He's dirty with what looks like reddish-brown mud, still mostly naked, and looks positively exhausted. There are fresh, thin, red lines down the insides of his forearms, but they look more like red marker lines than what they really were. Hawke's lockjaw has become a beast of burden and is hauling not only Hawke's gear, but some animals that have been hunted.=-

-=Hawke speaks something in his own language, not caring that the musical lilt won't be understood by people here. And then a moment later he gives a loose translation.=-

I am home. I have brought meat, but I do not have the strength to finish preparing it. And I would need a bath, first.

[She bites back a sigh. She knows that tone all too well. But she will not let him dictate the terms of their leaving.]

That is a most kind offer, Hawke. Is it not, dear cos?

[She glances at the other man before moving to her cousin's side. She lifts her hand to take his arm, then notices exactly how messy he's gotten and lowers it to her side.]

It seems you both need baths this morning, gentlemen. You will be all right on your way to the hot springs, Hawke?

We have limited storage for such things. But I will take some.

[He picks up a decently sized haunch]

Thank you. [grudgingly]

Drying will help.

-=And then a smile after bowing again. Politeness is paramount, especially with this man.=-

I have more cleanser. The hot springs is large if you need to wash.

-=The more the merrier according to Hawke!=-

It will make a fine roast for dinner tonight, thank you.

[She curtsies, a formal curtsy, but she grins at him when Tybalt can't see her.]

You could go, cos, if you like. I can tell you the directions once I am safely home. I have been there before, with Sango and Kagome.

[He gives the other man a very slight bow and shoulders the haunch. The last thing he wants is to bath with that man. But there are limits to even his brusqueness.]

I will be fine. I would prefer to bathe at home. And I do not wish to leave my cos alone.

I did not know you had hot water. -=But it's family bonding time!=-

I will send you with some of this cleanser. It is very good after slaughter.

-=He needs to go back inside anyway to get his own supplies.=-

We heat it as we do at home, over the fire. And then fill the tub with it before it grows too cool.

[Lukewarm baths were better than cold baths, after all. SHe curtsies.]

That is most kind of you, Hawke. We shall wait a moment for you to fetch it, will we not, Tybalt?

[Her face is the picture of innocence when she looks up at her cousin.]

[Tybalt wishes none of your bonding, sir.]

I'm washing up, not intending to soak. The fire will heat it well enough.

[A sigh]

We'll wait.

-=Tybalt's loss. It'd really loosen him up, Hawke's certain of it.=-

I will return. -=So he ducks back into the home, keeping the lockjaw outside. Said lockjaw continues to sniff Juliet with huffing noises, tail tip waving lazily back and forth.=-

[With its tail waving, the creature reminds her more of a very large dog. She gives it a warm smile before turning to her cousin.]

Thank you, cos, for getting up so early and helping. I am glad we were able to be of help.

[She stands up on tip-toe and leans over, avoiding the mess on his clothing, and gives him a light kiss on the cheek.]

We shall have a fine roast this evening. And eggs when we return home. And I shall start heating water right away for you.

[Tybalt has no desire to 'loosen up', especially around Hawke. He does however, react well to being placated by Juliet, even if he is aware that's what she's doing. The kiss doesn't hurt either]

You said you needed help with something. [He pats her arm lightly] You know I'm always willing to help you. Just... next time let me wake up a bit first?

-=Tybalt needs to get wasted, man.=-

And I thank you as well. -=He's passing the containers of the soap he makes over to Juliet, his one time in touching her hands.=-

I can go wash in peace, now, knowing that the meat is on its way to being used.

[That would be hilarious, seeing them bond over drinking.]

[She can't help but smile when his fingers touch hers as she takes the containers.]

I am glad we could help. Be safe on your walk.

[Nah, when Tybalt gets wasted, he just gets more belligerent. ]

Thank you [It even manages to sound almost sincere! But he sees Juliet's smile, and his eyes narrow]

Now come on Juliet, let's get home and let... Hawke have some peace.

-=Hawke's patient. He will wait. There's a bow and he takes his own toiletries to head over to the hot springs.=-
