Subaru has a man hunting him, a man by the name of Seishirou. He claims to be a priest. I get the feeling that he and Subaru were in a relationship of some sort a very long time ago, but although we don't know precisely why Seishirou is hunting Subaru, we know that he's quite willing to harm him.
The fixation is as much with Subaru's body, and the fact that he's a vampire, as it is with him personally. With someone else in Subaru's body he might take the chance to try and capture you, so he'll have Subaru when the time comes to switch back.
Hawke, I know you're a powerful fighter, but you're without your powers now and you have new ones you know nothing about. Kamui's no help right now, but for a time, due to one of these events, I was a vampire of the same type.
I know how to control and work with most of the powers. I can help you, until we find Subaru himself.
